O’Scugnizzo’s Pizza Since 1914

In 1914 Eugeno Burlino sold little tomato pies from a cart on the streets of East Utica. He opened Central New Yorkʼs first pizzeria in 1938. His son Angelo (Chops) Burline took over in 1956 & expanded the business to include the areaʼs first pizza delivery, the innovative “Bake at Home” pizza and the first square pizza. Chopsʼ son Steven assumed the reins in 1989. In 1997 Bill Conley & Steven brought Oʼscugnizzoʼs to Washington Mills & introduced our Fabulous Focaccia Sandwiches, Gourmet Pizza, Unique Soups and Salads.
