In 1914 Eugeno Burlino sold little tomato pies from a cart on the streets of East Utica. He opened Central New York's first pizzeria in 1938. His son, Angelo (Chops) Burline, took over in 1956 and expanded the business to include the area's first pizza delivery, the innovative “Bake at Home” pizza and the first square pizza. Chops' son Steven assumed the reins in 1989. In 1997 Bill Conley & Steven brought O'Scugnizzo's to Washington Mills and introduced Bill's Fabulous Focaccia Sandwiches, Gourmet Pizza, Bill's Unique Soups and Salads.
